HEADLINER Brian T Shirley has toured the USA, Canada, The Bahamas and Japan for over 25 years. In that time, he has also been part of an Improv Troupe, Hosted Trivia, Hosted and Co-Hosted Radio Shows, created and hosted 2 Web Series (non-scripted) and one scripted web series. Brian has also appeared in shorts films, Indie films, Feature films, a music video for the Grammy Winning band “Ranky Tanky” called “Good Time”, commercials for Western Pest Services , GAF Roofing and an appearance on “Real Housewives ofAtlanta” (Jan 2021 Bravo). He’s also been a part of a dramatic proof of concept called “The Third Party” where he was the third billed actor. He continues to act, write, produce, and take the stage when he can. Brian’s background in Comedy, Improv and his various entertainment endeavors have made him a consummate pro who loves being onstage and on film set. Because he is also a content creator, with projects that have won awards in some of the smaller film festivals, Brian understands the creative process which he has great respect for. In 2021, he can be seen in supporting roles in the films “Mark of the Butterfly”, Oak on the Outside”( Now on Amazon Prime), “Treasure Box” (Now on TUBI TV),”Senseless” now out on Blu-Ray, the short films “Jane”, “Doorway”, “Life with Darby” and shot his scenes for the new TV series “Surviving the Cartel” August 2021. He also shot his stand-up spot for the TV show LMAO at the Comedy Magic Cabaret in Hilton Head SC. Brian has worked with such acts as Rodney Carrington, Michael Winslow, Tim Wilson, Aisha Tyler, Billy Gardell, Josh Wolf, Dusty Slay, Basile, MJ Live, Diamond & Silk, Jimmy Walker and Huey Lewis & The News.He can temper his stand-up to fit any crowd, so his shows range from PG, PG-13 to adult. Even his R rated shows are not overly vulgar. He covers growing up poor, coming from a divorced family, the military (Brian is a USAF Vet), relationships, finances, stories from his third book “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Club”, various characters throughout his show including the “Fine Southern Gentleman” and more. He has done one man shows for over an hour, including nearly 2 hours when he adds in Improv games he plays with the audience.Brian has combined all these skills to host a LIVE Game show at the Asher Theatre in Myrtle Beach called “After the I Dos”, he was the shows main host for 2 weeks out of it’s 5 week run there during the summer of 2021.
